Slimline pizzas score hole in one
Calorie-conscious members were licking their lips with anticipation when samples of the new slimline range of pizzas were served up at Horsham’s Pizza Express.
Launched in association with WeightWatchers, the leggera pizzas are not quite a pizza, not quite a salad, said Jenna Maynard, the East Street restaurant’s new manager. “Light, fresh and different, they are a pizza with a hole in the middle. We’ve removed the centre of the dough and put a fresh salad back in its place.”
Jenna had just completed a hefty stint of training up restaurant staff in new management software systems now being rolled out across the chain.
“I started at Pizza Express as a waitress nine years ago and have grown up a bit in that time,” Jenna announced, adding: “I’m really behind what Business Builder Club is doing here and want to work closely with the Club to develop the relationship further still.”
The feedback from members was a resounding vote of confidence that she will continue where her predecessor Paul Sims left off.
Welcome to Horsham.

could orders be with us by 29 May. The cost includes logo board, plants, container, watering and maintenance from June to September,” adds Anne.
